Jessica is a Music Director and Conductor who specialises in musical theatre and opera. Currently based in Sydney, Australia she holds a Masters in Conducting from the Royal Danish Accadamy of Music, Denmark and Bachelor of Music and a Bachelor of Arts from The University of New South Wales, Sydney.
Her Musical theatre credits include "Half-time" (Hayes Theatre) "Songs for a New World" (UNSW), "The Producers" (UNSW), "The Last 5 Years" (NIDA), "The Who's TOMMY"(MOSMAN), “Annie” (MOSMAN), "9 to 5” (CANTERBERY) and “13”(Independant Theatre).
Opera Credits include Wagner's "Tristan and Isolde", Stauss' "Die Fledermaus" and Milenko's "Mrs Dalloway". She has also conducted orchestras around the world including the Bohuslav Martinu Philharmonic Orchestra, Northern Beaches Orchestra and Liepāja Symphony Orchestra. Jessica is also a passionate music educator and has been working with young people for over 10 years.
Her focus is on collaborative work that provides growth and development to artists at all musical levels and believes when people are truely invested and challenged in their art the art itself speaks so genuinely and thus high quality performances are achieved.
