Jaimee Reynolds

Biography

Jaimee Reynolds, horn, grew up in the small town of Alpena, Michigan. She has performed all over the US as well as in Europe. Ms. Reynolds has performed in renowned venues such as Carnegie Hall and the BBC Proms Royal Albert Hall. She received her Bachelors of Music degree from the Juilliard School in 2020 where she studied with Jennifer Montone. After Juilliard, Ms. Reynolds attended the Yale School of Music where she received her Masters of Music and her Masters of Musical Arts in 2022 and 2023, studying with William Purvis.

Ms. Reynolds is a regular member of the touring group Emo Orchestra. She was the horn player of the woodwind quintet The Sound Garden Quintet, which was awarded multiple grants and multiple residencies with the Interlochen Center for the Arts. Additionally, Ms. Reynolds is a substitute musician with The Hartford Symphony and the New World Symphony in Miami, FL.

Ms. Reynolds is a freelancer on the East Coast and has a passion for performing all different genres of music. She is an advocate for expanding the access to classical music, and has done so by connecting with audiences in unusual locations, such as a public library and a boat dock. Ms. Reynolds is a passionate private teacher, and has also taught brass musicians of all ages with Yale's Music in Schools Initiative. When Ms. Reynolds isn't teaching or performing, she can be found at local restaurants with friends, on the couch reading a book, or chasing around her cat Taco Belle.
