Ilana Marye Atkins

Ilana Marye Atkins

  • She/Her
  • Biography

Ilana is a conductor (stick) and pianist who currently hails from Las Vegas. Gigging full time has lead her all around the country from California to Virginia, Chicago to Manhattan, and so many other theaters in between. She was most recently the Associate Music Director on the 1st National Tour of Once On This Island. That experience was an incomparable career moment. Telling that beautiful story to so many people who may not have had access to it otherwise was what so many of us work for. Access to theatre both for audiences and musicians alike has become a more prominent focus as of late and that focus has Ilana to become one of the founding members of MUSE - Musicians United for Social Equity. MUSE will provide a variety of the necessary pipelines for black and brown artists so that they too may experience and benefit from the brimming opportunities our theatrical community has to offer.
