Hayley Goldenberg
Biography
Hayley Goldenberg (she/her) is a NYC-based lyricist, librettist, songwriter, and director. She is most passionate about creating new musical theatre that centres womanhood and the female experience. A proud dual citizen, she has trained in programs across the United States & Canada. She is an alumni of the Capilano University musical theatre program in North Vancouver, The Performing Arts Project Summer Intensive, and the NMTI Writer's Workshop, and is currently furthering her education with the Musical Theatre Writers Collective led by Sam Carner. Recently, Hayley was commissioned by Bravo Academy to co-write #ANewMusical, for their Teen Intensive program, and presented a reading/developmental workshop of her original musical “To Family!”. She is currently working on several new projects including Mother of Invention a new musical about women inventors who have been lost to history, and Women & Theatre a blog dedicated to exploring what it means to be a woman in the theatre industry.
