Biography

Based in the NJ/NY area, Hannah (she/her) performs regularly as a pianist and singer. She has appeared at Carnegie Hall, the Kosciuszko Foundation, Merkin Hall, Classic Lyric Arts Berkshires (CLA) summer Mozart festival, the Arabia-Kaikuu Festivaali, the Helsinki Musiikkitalo, Paavalinkirkko, the Civic Morning Musicals concert series, the Finnish Wagner Society, the Green Room 42, and the Gene Frankel Theatre. Hannah also works as a music director and assistant conductor in the NYC tri-state area. Productions include Sweeney Todd, All Shook Up, Heathers, Dido and Aeneas, Pippin, Lion King Jr, Newsies Jr, and Songs for a New World.

In addition to performing and directing, Hannah is a songwriter, composer/arranger, and researcher. Her original music and compositions have been performed throughout the East Coast. She has conducted research through an international fellowship with the American Scandinavian Foundation, and been supported through grants from SAI Philanthropies, Inc, the Syracuse Graduate School, and the Finlandia-Italia Ry. Her research focuses on music's influence on identity, and she often curates/performs programs that comment on this topic.

Hannah has trained at William Paterson University, Syracuse University, Metropolia UAS, and the Sibelius Academy. She is currently on voice/piano faculty at William Paterson University and on music ministry staff at St. Mary’s Church in Pompton Lakes.
