Glynnis McNamara
Biography
I am a passionate and dedicated musician, sound designer, composer, and engineer. Some of my recent accomplishments include music directing a production of A Chorus Line, sound design work for Spatial, and leading the Disneyland All-American College Band in 2022. I graduated from UCLA in late 2021 with a degree in Global Jazz Studies (Saxophone Performance), focusing on baritone saxophone and assorted woodwind doubles while studying with greats such as Hitomi Oba, Justo Almario, and Mark Turner. I've been lucky enough to perform with incredible artists like Brittany Howard, Gregg Field, Sal Lozano, Mary Stallings, and more.
I am currently open to any opportunities and would love to gain experience music directing, working as a music assistant, and playing in shows. I recently (re-)relocated to Southern California and am looking for opportunities here and anywhere else!
