Gabriella Rose Balsam

Biography

Gabriella Rose Balsam is a playwright, bookwriter, and lyricist, with additional experience in writing fiction and ad copy. In the theater, she has worked with WP Theater, Eisenberg/Beans Casting, Theatre Exile, and the Academy of Vocal Arts. Her copywriting has also appeared on behalf of the Fox School of Business-Graduate Admissions (Temple University). She received a Bachelor's Degree in Advertising-Copywriting Concentration with a Certificate (Minor) in Writing from Temple University. She received a Masters in Fine Arts from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts in Musical Theatre Writing (Wordsperson) in 2020. Additionally, she has studied at PlayPenn, is currently part of StateraArts New York’s second mentorship class, and is a proud member of the Dramatists’ Guild. A persistent, ambitious, and driven self-starter, she's interested in storytelling, through emotionally and mentally charged writing. Perhaps most importantly, she’s a Julia Houston wannabe, Gritty fangirl, & witchy jawn.
