Franklyn Grace

Biography

Franklyn Grace (she/they) is a professional musician and multifaceted creative artist. She has a Bachelor’s in Music Composition & Music Performance with a Musical Theatre Minor, and she is currently earning her Master’s in Writing & Design for Musical Theatre at Berklee NYC. Among the many shows for community theatre and Off-Broadway theatre they have played include “Brighter Than The Sun” (a new musical by Collin Hendley, running Off-Broadway January 2024, for which they are the Alternate Pianist and Assistant Arranger), “The Phantom of the Opera,” “The Wizard of Oz,” “The Little Mermaid,” “Shrek the Musical,” “Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella,” “Oklahoma!” and “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.” She has also played various cabaret-style shows; written two full-length musicals, a one-act play, and a song cycle of her own; and is currently working on her third full-length musical at Berklee NYC. When they are not playing and/or music directing shows, they are a freelance accompanist/copyist/arranger, and more. Franklyn is known for the emotion she puts into her playing, her punctuality, her musicianship, and her unwavering dedication to her numerous musical crafts.
