Erika Ji
Biography
Erika's work has been featured off-Broadway and around the world at the Rattlestick Playwrights Theater, the Nadia Boulanger Institute, the Musical Theatre Factory, the Gallatin Theatre Troupe, the 52nd Street Project, Catalyst Artists, and SheNYC Arts at Joe’s Pub, the Cutting Room, the Jerry H. Labowitz Theater, Kraine Theatre, Hub Seventeen, and the Cesar Franck Hall at the Schola Cantorum de Paris.
As a conductor, pianist, and vocalist, Erika has performed on national TV for CBS Sunday Morning, at the Warfield Theatre in San Francisco, and for house concerts across the country.
Erika is a Tisch Fellow at the NYU Tisch Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program and will attend the BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop in 2021. Erika grew up in California, studied computer science and philosophy at Stanford University, organized the Viennese Ball in San Francisco, and built products at Dropbox before deciding to follow the music.
