Emma Reinhart
Biography
Emma Reinhart is a saxophonist, woodwinds specialist, and music educator originally from Southern California. She is currently based in New York City after holding the reeds chair (saxophones, clarinet, bass clarinet, and flute) on the First National tour of Jimmy Buffett's Broadway musical, Escape to Margaritaville.
Emma performs on a range of woodwind instruments, including piccolo/flute; clarinet, bass clarinet; and SATB saxophones. In addition to touring, she has held the reeds chair and subbed for over a dozen musical theater productions.
As a concert and classical saxophonist, Emma has been a guest saxophonist and clarinetist with the New World Symphony (Miami Beach, FL), Downey Symphony Orchestra, Music Academy of the West (Santa Barbara, CA), the American Youth Symphony (Los Angeles, CA), and the USC Thornton Symphony.
A versatile musician, Emma was also a member of the Disneyland Resort All-American College Band in 2015, a highly selective performance and educational program. She has since performed in numerous jazz and commercial music settings and frequently records woodwind tracks for various projects.
Emma is an adjunct instructor of woodwinds at College of the Desert in Palm Desert, CA (working remotely), and maintains a private studio. She is also a Teaching Artist with the New York Pops: PopsEd educational program.
