Biography

Emma Reinhart is a New York City-based saxophonist, woodwinds specialist, and music educator originally from Southern California. She relocated to NYC after performing the reeds chair on the First National tour of Jimmy Buffett's Broadway musical, Escape to Margaritaville (2019-2020 and fall 2021).

Emma has performed in over a dozen musical theater productions, including Off-Broadway ("I Can Get it For You Wholesale" at Classic Stage Co, 2023; "Cornelia Street" at Atlantic Stage Co, 2023), and serves as a substitute musician on Broadway (Some Like It Hot, Moulin Rouge, How to Dance in Ohio; 2022 and 2023 Radio City Christmas Spectacular).

Outside of theater, Emma enjoys performing in a wide range of settings and recording for projects remotely. As a concert and classical saxophonist, Emma has been a guest saxophonist and clarinetist with the New World Symphony (Miami Beach, FL), Downey Symphony Orchestra, Music Academy of the West (Santa Barbara, CA), and the American Youth Symphony (Los Angeles, CA). Emma was also a member of the Disneyland Resort All-American College Band in 2015, a highly selective performance and educational program for collegiate instrumentalists.

Emma is a Teaching Artist with the New York Pops Educational Program and woodwind faculty at the British International School of New York. Additionally, she has been an adjunct instructor of woodwinds at College of the Desert in Palm Desert, CA since 2020 (working remotely), and maintains a private studio.
