Emma Helene Campbell

Biography

I am a recent graduate of UW-Eau Claire with a degree in Violin Performance. I began playing violin at three years old under a Suzuki Instructor and took up piano in the 3rd grade. Growing up homeschooled, I ran a private piano studio in high school and performed with regional groups, such as the Turtle Creek Chamber Orchestra. Going on to college, I held a full tuition scholarship playing in the Eileen Cohen String Quartet, accompanied the Women's Concert Chorale on piano, and was the Administrative Teacher's Assistant for the UW Eau Claire University Symphony Orchestra. I collaborated on many occasions with composition students playing and recording for various projects and theater department productions. Before the COVID-19 pandemic, I acted as a section coach and mentored the Chippewa Valley Youth Symphony Orchestra. In spring 2022, I was the String Division winner of the UW Eau Claire Symphony Orchestra Concerto Competition. I also played with the band, Disturbed, for their summer 2022 Rockfest performance in Cadott, WI. I currently play with the Chippewa Valley Symphony Orchestra and Eau Claire Chamber Orchestra and teach private violin and piano lessons through Morgan Music in Eau Claire. Recently, I have begun recording string tracks for album projects through Aviary Studio in Menomonie, WI.
