Emily Whitaker

Biography

Emily Whitaker is a music director and pianist from upstate New York. Recent credits include: Monsoon Wedding (music director, world premiere at the 2022 World Cup), Trading Places (associate music director, Alliance Theatre), Mean Girls National Tour (music director), The Visitor at the Public Theater (associate music director), Merrily We Roll Along at Roundabout Theater Company (associate music director/conductor/pianist), The Band's Visit on Broadway and with the Atlantic Theater Company, Into the Woods at Princeton University, and The Hello Girls with Prospect Theater Company. Emily also subbed on Tootsie on Broadway (Keys 1) and The Band's Visit on Broadway (Keys 2). Emily has also been a proud teaching artist at Princeton University and McCarter Theater Center. B.A. Princeton University; M.A. in Musicology: Columbia University.
