Emily Orr
Biography
Emily Orr hails from Wichita, KS and is proud graduate from the School of Music and School of Theatre at Wichita State University. She has traveled the globe by cruise ship for five years, entertaining world-wide audiences as a singer, dancer, and pianist. She was a guest vocalist with the Wichita Symphony Orchestra and sang twice at Carnegie Hall with the Ad Astra Singers and WSU. She has performed onstage at many theatres in Wichita for over 10 years including MTWichita and Crown Uptown Dinner Theatre. Favorite performance credits include West Side Story, 42nd Street, She Loves Me, A Chorus Line, The Sound of Music, Nunsense, I Love a Piano, White Christmas. In addition to performing on stage, Emily has vast experience as a music director and pianist; MD credits include The Theory of Relativity, Violet, Next to Normal, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Emily is currently earning her Masters of Fine Arts for Musical Direction at Penn State University.
