Elyza Tuan

Biography

Based in Boston, Elyza is a singer-songwriter, composer, and actress, most known for her song "It's Not Pretty to be Crazy," which won the Write Out Loud contest in 2022. She currently studies at Boston College, where she is a part of the BC Dynamics as well as the theatre department. Her most recent roles include Maureen Johnson in BC's RENT, Cady Heron in Weston Drama Workshop's Mean Girls, and Maria in Montrose School's The Sound of Music.

She also composes and produces her own music which you can check out on Spotify. In May, she released a debut EP called "hope" which you can stream on all platforms. She is currently working towards an album, to be released this coming spring.
