Biography
One of my very favorite things to do as a musician is to accompany a vocal soloist onstage with a gorgeous violin or viola solo from the pit. I'm a violinist and viola doubler. I've been playing for Broadway touring shows in Milwaukee since 1998, and I was Concertmaster of Skylight Opera Theater in Milwaukee for several years, where we performed both operas and musicals. The show Chicago there was a fun one, performing on stage. My viola doubling debut was with the Book of Mormon when it came through Albuquerque and then I was recommended to do it in Milwaukee also. Also of note was doing the rarely performed Big River at Clarence Brown Theater in Knoxville. That show is a great exploration of fiddling styles as the story progresses down the Mississippi. My full list of shows may be found on my LinkedIn profile.
