Elizabeth Vennari
Biography
Hi, I'm Elizabeth! I grew up as a violist and studied Music Performance at the University at Buffalo. I played in the Greater Buffalo Youth Orchestra as principal violist for 2 years, UB Orchestra as principal violist for 3 years, and I was the winner of UB Orchestra's Concerto Competition, where I performed the Bartok Viola Concerto in March 2017.
While there, I also started taking conducting classes and joined UB Choir. I co-founded UB Chamber Singers, an advanced ensemble that is thriving years after graduation. I studied conducting with Rachel Lauber and Harold Rosenbaum, and singing with Julia Anne Cordani.
Professionally, I sing alto with Harmonia Chamber Singers in Buffalo, NY, and I co-founded and now co-direct INCIPIO singers, a semi-professional ensemble for young singers who are emerging on the music scene in Western NY.
