Biography
I am a recent graduate from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance and a minor in business. I have accompanied Deo Adoramus Youth Choir and Cooper Voice Studio as well as voice studios at the University of Maryland. During summers, I played in the pits for St. Mary’s Summerstock’s productions of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, The Little Mermaid, and Newsies and 32 Bars' production of Heathers at UMD. I have also been teaching piano for 6 years. I am the recipient of numerous honors and awards to include 1st place in Southern Maryland’s Got Talent where I performed a backward piano duet and 1st place in several MSMTA and MTASM competitions and scholarship competitions. During my time at UMD, I have been invited to perform at the Piano Division Showcase several times as well as a recital at Steinway Hall in NYC. My goal is to be a collaborative pianist, specifically by playing in Broadway pits.
