Eilidh McRae

Biography

Eilidh is a versatile harpist who has led a global career playing with orchestras all over the world. She was Principal Harpist for Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra and has also played frequently with Singapore Symphony Orchestra and Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra.
Eilidh studied at the Royal Academy of Music, London and was frequently booked for TV and studio recording work. She appears on the award winning Travis album ‘The Invisible Band’ and has performed with artists such as Sir Paul McCartney and Andrea Bocelli. With a group called The Orchestra she played at London Jazz Festival and is on their album ‘Look Away Now’.
Eilidh is also a dedicated harp teacher and music educator. During her 19 years in Asia Eilidh did a huge amount to give the harp more exposure within the community.
Eilidh has recently moved to the USA and is the artist in residence at the Suzuki Music School in Westport and has recently worked with Greenwich and New Haven Symphony Orchestras. She is also highly in demand for weddings and luxury brand events.
