Biography
DENISE PROSEK (Music Director) has worked extensively as a music director, pianist, and arranger in the Twin Cities for the past twenty-five years. As Resident Music Director and co-founder of Theater Latté Da, she has music directed over fifty mainstage productions, including the Ivey-award winning Ragtime, and Cabaret. Denise has also directed and conducted for Guthrie Theater, Children’s Theatre Company, Park Square, Theater Mu, Ordway, Illusion Theatre, Hennepin Theatre Trust, and Ivey Awards. Denise holds a Bachelor of Music from St. Olaf College. She was named Outstanding Musical Director in 2006 and 2008 from Star Tribune, Best Music Director in 2010 from Lavender, and Theater Artist of the Year in 2012 from Lavender. Denise was honored to have been named a 2013-14 Playwrights’ Center McKnight Theater Artist Fellow.
