Biography

As a young songwriter, my only goal was to write songs that singers loved to sing. That goal has never changed.
My songs seem to have a recurring theme of discovery and surprise. Some are darker than others but often ooze an underlying feeling of questioning and yearning, without a lot of overthinking. More feeling than thought. I compose with the goal of making my songs lyric and melody-driven. Timeless emotions that speak to universal themes like love and loss, love and gain – with a twist.

I am a collaborator -- I don't perform -- and I have successfully connected with singers who have performed or recorded my original songs. I have never written for theater but I feel like I can add to the process for others.
