Dax Dupuy

Biography

Dax Dupuy is a New York based composer/lyricist. Her work includes: Clementine: The Musical (National tour, Theatreworks USA),The Fantastical Dangerous Journey of Q (Rebel Playhouse), Old Turtle and the Broken Truth, Frosty, Twas the Night Before Christmas, Santa Claus is Coming to Town, Jingle All the Way, Rudolph, and Mother Goose: The Musical. Her newest musical Maud Muller was read in the Appalachian Festival of Plays and Playwrights at the Barter Theatre in January 2019. Dax is proud to be the Composer-in-Residence at the Rebel Playhouse, where two of her musicals are in the 2018/2019 season of the 14th Street Y Theatre. Dax has also written incidental scores for the Barter Theatre, Nebraska Shakespeare Festival, Duke City Repertory Theatre, and many others.
