Dani Lee Hutch
I have always loved a good story. As a performing artist, I aim to communicate authentic stories through music and theatre. Originally from Ohio, I graduated with a BA in Piano Performance from Cedarville University and recently received my Masters degree in Music Direction for Theatre from Arizona State University.
My work as a collaborative pianist, music director, and choreographer for theatrical productions have incorporated elements from the classical repertoire as well as the musical theatre canon, culminating in well-rounded artistic experiences. I have also worked in developing new works at various workshops such as the Phoenix Theatre New Works Festival. Recent productions include Kiss Me, Kate, Musical of Musicals (The Musical!), A New Brain, 9 to 5, and The Drowsy Chaperone.
I have served on music staff at Arizona State University, Phoenix Theatre, Wright State University, and College Light Opera Company. I was awarded an AriZoni Award for my music direction of A New Brain at ASU in 2018. Feel free to reach out to me at [email protected] or visit me on Facebook, Instagram, or YouTube!
