Biography

Cristina Dinella Makowicz is a Philadelphia based pianist, music director and educator. She currently serves as Director of Liturgical Music at Sacred Heart Church is Bridgeport, and Accompanist for Temple University and Cairn University. Cristina also teaches piano and voice to students of all ages in the Philadelphia Metro.

Recent theatrical credits include “Disenchanted!” (Marietta Theatre Company) “Oliver!” (Atlanta Lyric), “Ragtime” (Kennesaw State University), and “Heathers” (Kennesaw State University). Past credits include “Peter and the Starcatcher” (Cape Rep Theatre), “The Bremen Town Musicians: Opera to Go” (Opera Saratoga) and “Defendant Maurice Chevalier” (Off Broadway).

Cristina holds a Master’s of Music in Piano Performance from Georgia State University and a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from the Eastman School of Music.

Cristina resides in Lansdale with her husband Andrew. When not playing and teaching music, Cristina enjoys cooking and fitness.
