Biography
Clare Fuyuko Bierman is a playwright and lyricist raised a Japanese-Jewish home in Los Angeles, with some rabbits, a snake, and a bunch of finches. She writes for kids and grown-ups too. Her work has been supported and developed by the Eugene O'Neill New Musical Theater Conference, NAMT, The Orchard Project, The Civilians, The Johnny Mercer Songwriter Project, the Samuel French Off-Off Broadway Play Festival, American Opera Projects, and the Bret Adams and Paul Reich Foundation. She has a degree in Environmental Studies, and an MFA in Musical Theater Writing from NYU.
