Biography

Christie Baugher wrote the book, music and lyrics for THE FITZGERALDS OF ST. PAUL (official selection, 2020 Pacific Playwrights Festival, South Coast Repertory; sold out in concert at Joe's Pub, August 2019) and LENI RIEFENSTAHL IS GOING TO TELL YOU THE TRUTH. A finalist for the 2021 Kleban Prize, her work as a playwright and songwriter has been featured at 54 Below, the Duplex, the Laurie Beechman, Bowery Poetry Club, Bard College at Simon’s Rock, Tri-Arts Sharon Playhouse, The Flea, Dixon Place, South Coast Repertory, Actors Theatre of Louisville, Barrington Stage, Specific Gravity Ensemble, Two River Theater, York Theatre and the Seoul Institute of the Arts in South Korea.
