Biography
Cat Barker is a NYC based electric bass player, singer, songwriter and actor. She works as a freelance bass player around the city, frequenting venues such as 54 Below, the Green Room 42, Arlene's Grocery, Bowery Electric, the Mercury Lounge, and more. She recently toured the US and Canada as the bass player for “Dirty Dancing in Concert," where she played in over 70 cities within a 13-week span. She also writes music with her band under her own name, and is in the process of recording her first EP. Her original music combines influences of artists like Maggie Rogers, Fleetwood Mac, Haim, Sammy Rae and the Friends, Vulfpeck, Larkin Poe, and more.
