Biography
Caryl Fantel is a multiple Carbonell, Silver Palm and REMY Award-winning Music Director/Conductor and Pianist whose work has been heard at performing arts centers and regional theatres around the country, from the York Theatre Off-Broadway and Carnegie Hall to The 5th Avenue Theatre in Seattle and South Florida’s Maltz Jupiter Theatre, Zoetic Stage, Actors’ Playhouse and others. Caryl has performed with Andrea Bocelli and Broadway’s Beth Malone, Liz Callaway, Lorna Luft, Tovah Feldshuh, Lee Roy Reams and others. She has directed student vocal groups for performances on the Tony Awards, Hugh Jackman’s World Tour Florida concert, and other events. She has served as Producer of the South Florida Carbonell Awards and has been the Carbonell Awards Music Director for 15 years. In addition, Caryl is the Music Coordinator/Music Director of the BFA in Musical Theatre program at Florida Atlantic University. She also works with the musical theatre programs at Nova Southeastern University and Lynn University. Caryl is a private vocal and audition coach, workshop presenter and member of the Broward County Cultural Council, and she composes music in her spare time. FantelMusic.com
