Brooke Elizabeth Sanders
Biography
Brooke Sanders is from Nashville TN and a current student at Berklee College of Music. Having written, directed and produced her original musical as a high school student, she has continued that passion through studying musical theater writing and musical theater conducting at Berklee. As a writer, she is a winner of the Curtain Up! contest for musical theater writing for her lyrics on "Okay" (composed by Nancy O'Conner). She is also the executive producer for both the Berklee Musical Theater Club and the Broadway band, both groups on the Berklee campus dedicated to grooming students for the professional musical theater industry. She is also currently producing a show going up at 54 Below this May. As a music director, she has won an honor from the Nashville Spotlight Awards as a high schooler for her work on "Freaky Friday." She has also played piano in the pits for multiple musicals on the Berklee campus. As a pianist, she also earned a merit based scholarship covering half of her tuition for Berklee. As a performer she has won honors from the Nashville Spotlight Awards and the Junior Theater festival for her work as a high schooler.
