Biography
Bella Panico is a Brooklyn based writer, composer, and activist passionate about using art to empower underrepresented voices by challenging social and artistic norms in the areas of feminism, neurodiversity, and mental health. She values working towards building an artistic community by telling stories through hope and authenticity. She is the founder of a new non-profit called "We Are The Nowhere Women" based on her choreopoem play "The Nowhere Women" that won the Student Collaboration Award with Women in the Arts and Media Coalition December 2026. She is currently composing the score to a dance film titled "The Feast" about Women reclaiming their bodies and their relationship to sex, which will be a sub-project of #wearethenowherewomen movement. She has also had a professional staged reading of her play "The Elevator" at The Flea Theater with Unlimited Stages April 2024. She currently studies Writing for the Stage, Music, and Creative Writing at Marymount Manhattan College and will graduate with a Bachelor's degree in December 2026.
