Biography
Hi there! My name is Anissa Perona, and I am an actor/singer and current graduate student at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee about to earn my MFA in Musical Theatre Vocal Pedagogy. I am a voice teacher who also teaches lessons for beginner piano and ukulele, and am conducting research in the field of vocal pedagogy. I am also entering the world of narration/voiceover work, though I am primarily a performer and voice teacher.
I have performed in venues around New York City such as The Green Room 42, as well as Feinstein's/54 Below with Ryan Scott Oliver's Actor Therapy. I have also worked with numerous guest coaches/lecturers at both the Boston Conservatory and at my undergraduate alma mater, NYU Steinhardt. I currently work as a private voice teacher in the Boston area, as well as a voice teacher to non-musical theatre majors at the Boston Conservatory and through a music studio in the Boston area.
