Biography
Andrea J. Love is an NYC-based writer, composer, performer, and teacher. She is currently a second-year lyricist/composer in the prestigious BMI Musical Theatre Writers Workshop in NYC. Recent projects include: The Parts I Keep Inside: a mental health-focused musical receiving an industry reading in 2024; Tiktaalik: The Musical, a 2024 Sound Bites Festival winner; Lilith: a semi-finalist in the National Alliance of Musical Theatre's 2020 15-Minute Musical Contest; and Good Earth, an environmental children's musical currently touring Northern California. Her 15-minute dark comedy “Hangman” has been produced by both Bike City Theatre Company and 3Girls Theatre Company in San Francisco. Other works include BCTC-produced State of California-commissioned animated educational videos ("Zoonotic Flu"). As an AEA actor, she has recently worked with The 5th Avenue Theatre, San Francisco Shakespeare Festival, Capital Stage Company, and Davis Shakespeare Festival.
