She/Her
Biography
Amber Reynolds is a composer, pianist, and music director based in NYC. Her work spans theater, concert music, and film and TV, with a focus on collaboration, storytelling, and musicality that elevates every moment.
She has performed internationally across North America, Europe, and Asia, and is a familiar presence at comedy theaters and festivals throughout NYC, including the New York Comedy Festival. As a music director, Amber is known for crafting dynamic, playful, and musically rich environments, whether supporting fully scripted work, improvising live on stage, or leading fellow musicians through complex, collaborative scores.
Equally at home in a black box theater, comedy club, or symphony hall, her compositions have been recorded by artists across genres and commissioned for everything from orchestral works to short films, television, and digital media. She’s especially drawn to projects that blur the lines between music and comedy, finding the perfect sound to heighten a punchline, build a world, or break your heart.
