Biography
Amanda Ribnick is a performer and award-winning composer, lyricist, and writer for musical theatre and television. Described as "comfortingly accessible and intriguingly layered" by Playbill, Amanda is known for her uniquely metaphorical lyrics and harmonically dense, anthemic music.
Amanda was Playbill’s Featured Songwriter of the Month (March 2024), selected to be a member of the Maestra Music Mentorship Program (2022, Mentor: Christiana Cole), has had her original musicals presented at the University of Miami through Theatre Action Group (“The True Story of Stars,” in 2020, “RUNT” in 2022), 54 Below, Green Room 42, and received the Knight New Work Award for her original musical web-series, “Underground” (2020).
