Allie Terracina
She/They
Biography
A native of Atlanta, Georgia, Allyn Terracina, known as Allie to friends and family, began her musical life at an early age She recalls listening to John Williams scores in her father's car on the way to kindergarten, (eventually) loving piano lessons, and performing with her family at churches across the metro area as early timestamps in her musical career.
These days, Allie teaches middle school band by day and composes music by night. She has experience scoring short films, composing/arranging for small ensembles, and performing locally in Philadelphia. Her primary instrument is French horn. While Allie admires a long lineup of musicians, she draws composing inspiration from artists such as Natalie Holt, Emily Bear, Hans Zimmer, and Thomas Newman.
When she isn't playing the horn or composing, Allie enjoys writing fiction, with a focus on historical fiction and LGBTQ+ centered stories. She also loves to analyze films, read, explore local neighborhoods and trails, and hang out with her cat.
