Biography

Alize Francheska Rozsnyai, operatic coloratura soprano and librettist, is a graduate of the Curtis
Institute of Music in Voice (B.M.) and Opera (M.M.), passionate about the creation and performance of
operas which can inspire positive change. Her writing speaks to issues including technology, the

(Composed by Roger A. Martinez), centered around the impacts of Factory Farming. She was the Lolotte
Gaucher Fellowship Award recipient in Really Spicy Opera’s Low Residency Aria Institute in 2022, and
returns in 2023 receiving the Thalia Graham Kelly Memorial Fellowship Award.
Alize’s works have been performed by Alter Ego Chamber Opera, ENA Ensemble, and Phony (Composed
by David Matthew Brown) about smartphone addiction, which was slated to be performed at Frostberg
University but cancelled during the pandemic, will receive its official second performance with Hub City
Opera and Dance Company in April of 2023, with Alize performing the role of Heather.
