Alina Eckersley

Biography

I'm a biracial hornist, a child of an immigrant mother from Laos, and a father from California. I believe music can be accessible to all through outreach and education. Which is why my undergraduate degree is in music education.

I freelanced in Las Vegas where I played for the Nevada Ballet Theatre, Las Vegas Opera Company, and notably The Game of Thrones In Concert Experience. I moved from Las Vegas to pursue a master and from there I moved to Utah. There I did small recording work with LA East Studios.

From Utah I moved to New York City to start D.M.A at Manhattan School of Music. This degree I finished December 2023. I have experience in chamber music, orchestral and solo playing.
