Alexandra Middleditch
Biography
Alexandra is a pianist, musical director, and orchestrator based in London. She is a recent graduate of Mountview's MA in Musical Direction.
Assistant MD Credits while training include: Gypsy, Nell Gwynn, Little Women (also Associate Orchestrator), and the MA Musical Theatre Showcase.
Alexandra also holds a BA (Hons) Music from the University of Oxford, where she was an organ scholar. Theatrical credits while at Oxford included Anna Karenina (MD & Orchestrator), Bonnie & Clyde (Assistant MD), and In the Republic of Happiness (MD & Composer).
Alexandra is especially passionate about new writing and popular music. For her MA Creative Project she devised a new jukebox musical concept inspired by the discography of Taylor Swift, and presented several songs from this project as part of "Here's To You, Taylor Swift", a cabaret by Sad Girl Productions at the Union Theatre in September 2022.
