Alexandra Bellhaven
She/Her
Biography
Alexandra (Ally) Bellhaven is a composer, lyricist, and producer based in the NYC area, although her roots hail from both Guatemala and Atlanta respectively. At present, she is obtaining her Masters in Fine Arts from NYU’s Graduate Musical Theater Writing Program (expected graduation 2025). She is also a graduate of Berklee College of Music where she earned her degree in Film Scoring and Composition with concentrations in Musical Theater Writing and conducting.
Ally aims to create stories where audience members can experience themselves on stage, whether that be through identity representation or the innate humanness that Ally brings to her writing. She is most well known for her original cycle, Diary of a Payphone, which is available on all music streaming platforms. Currently, she is writing a coming-of-age story in the format of a 1980s Slahser that is all about facing your fears titled Sharp.
When not doing music, Ally can be found reading, walking the aisles of Trader Joe's, or doing a Corepower Yoga class.
