They/Them
Biography
Colombian-American Vocalist, Composer, Producer, & Vocal Arranger based in the Virginia/DC area. I received my Bachelor of Music in Music Theory & Composition at the Florida State University College of Music in Tallahassee, Florida. In 2019, I released an EP, Songs From My Elijah, music from my original musical, My Elijah, recorded and produced by V Rodriguez Productions. Later on, I released a 3 track single with both new and reworked music from my musical called My Elijah (Studio Sessions). I was selected as a national winner for the Musical Theatre Songwriting Challenge, hosted by the American Theatre Wing & the National Endowment for the Arts, where my song “Days From Long Ago”, which appears in Alejo’s EP, was rerecorded and sung by Broadway’s Solea Pfeiffer and star of West Side Story and Hunger Games: Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes, Rachel Zegler. I scored numerous short films for the College of Motion Picture Arts at FSU, as a freelance Composer. I held the position of Music Director, Arranger, and Beatboxer for FSU's premier A Cappella group, All-Night Yahtzee, having garnered multiple awards for my arranging, vocal percussion, and music production skills at the
International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella and the Contemporary A Cappella Recording Awards.
