    • Biography

    Alana Jacoby is a musical theater lyricist and bookwriter, playwright, lighting designer, and educator. Her musical When We're Gone (book & lyrics) received the BroadwayWorld Oklahoma award for Best New Work when it premiered at the Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma in 2018. Recent virtual productions include Trivøya Gold (book & lyrics) at Wayne State University, and Let's Go to the Moon! (lyrics) at the Yale Cabaret. She studied playwriting at Brown University, and earned an MFA from NYU's Graduate Musical Theater Writing Program.
