Biography
Ahou Yasmine is an Iranian-American bookwriter, lyricist, actor, and singer. Most recently, she has worked as bookwriter and lyricist on the short, original musical titled SEEING THE LIGHT, which performed at The Broadwater in Hollywood. Currently, she is working on a full-length musical featuring a British-Iranian woman's journey through assimilation in 1985 London. As a singer and actor, Ahou has studied voice and Alexander Technique with Tracy Van Fleet of Los Angeles Master Chorale. She has worked with companies such as Contra Costa Civic Theater and Golden Thread Productions and as a frequent concert soloist with mixed-genre vocal arts group Artes Vocales in Los Angeles, where she has also worked as an associate producer.
