Biography
Addie Symonds is a Manhattan-based theatre writer, photographer, and visual artist originally from Houston, Texas. Her songs have been performed at numerous venues around New York City, including 54 Below, The Greenroom 42, and Joe’s Pub. As a photographer, she has worked with organizations such as NAMT, the Bringabout, and NYU, as well as regularly photographing concerts and indie theatre around Manhattan and Brooklyn. Musical works include Adderall Nation with Matt Graham, Mommy Issues with Adam LaPorte (2023 O'Neill NMTC Semi-finalist), and Flatland with James Powers. BFA: University of Houston, Playwriting and Dramaturgy. MFA: New York University, Musical Theatre Writing.
