Abigail Nordan

Biography

Abigail is a music director, conductor, and mezzo-soprano born and raised in Boston, MA. She is a current graduate student studying Choral Conducting at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee and a 2025 graduate of Oberlin College with majors in Music and Psychology. She currently serves on the artistic staff of the Boston Children’s Chorus and the Greater Boston Stage Company.

Abigail spent a year as the Student Director of the Oberlin Music at Grafton Prison Choir with mentorship from Dr. Jody Kerchner and Dr. Gregory Ristow. She is an active church musician, having sung at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist in Downtown Cleveland and several UCC congregations in MA.

Being raised within the Boston area’s outstanding public school music education and community arts programs afforded Abigail the rare opportunity to pursue a life in music. It is her greatest ambition to work with organizations that create forward-thinking, community-centered musical opportunities.
