Abbie Davis

Biography

Abbie is a London-based violinist who has a Masters in Performance (MMus) from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.

Abbie has worked with the BBC Concert Orchestra and the London Symphony Orchestra and has led many London-based orchestras. Her career has seen her tour the country with musical theatre, classical and opera, jazz, country, folk and pop ensembles. She is a prolific chamber musician, recording violinist/violist and soloist. Abbie also works with ceilidh bands and folk bands, including singing BVs.

Abbie has extensive experience in orchestra pits, both as a violinist/ fiddle player in pit bands for musicals and leading chamber opera orchestras. Currently freelancing in London and the UK, Abbie is looking for work in West End pits and UK/ International tours and is comfortable doubling on violin and viola.
