Join Ghostlight Theater Camp in Oakland, ME, this summer to create exciting and unique theatrical productions with incredible young artists!
The Creative Teams are the heartbeat of the Ghostlight Theater Camp community. We create up to 12 gorgeous productions with campers that reflect their experiences and amplify their voices. By being a part of ensemble theater-making, alongside professional theater artists, Ghostlight campers return to their communities more confident, independent, and self-expressive.
Members of the Creative Teams are inclusive, authentic, good role models, and always there to show campers the how and why behind staging and design, illuminating the collaboration behind each production.
Music Directors:
Music Directors work alongside directors and choreographers on one musical a session, preparing the cast for rehearsals and performances of both established and new shows. Music Directors also teach up to two classes a session in vocal performance, musical theater, a cappella, and other areas of their own interest.
General Information:
· Competitive Salary, Commensurate with Experience, beginning at $2500/show
· Contracts include Room and Board, Travel Reimbursement to Camp
· Responsibilities include preparing and leading music rehearsals, playing the reduced piano score for the performances, teaching classes in voice and adjacent fields, assisting with preparation for camp as well as final closure of camp if staying for full summer.
