Biography
Tina is a bassist living in Queens, NY. She has experience with many genres from jazz to classical, from pop to bluegrass. She has enjoyed success touring and recording with the Emmy-nominated bluegrass/hip-hop band Gangstagrass, whose 2020 album “No Time For Enemies” reached no. 1 on the Billboard Bluegrass Charts. She has had the good fortune to tour and release two albums with her jazz trio, The Red Birds, as well as tour and record with Jan Bell and The Maybelles (Bluegrass/Americana).
Tina is currently the bass chair holder for A Sign of The Times (Off-Broadway). She has also performed as a bass sub on SIX The Musical (Broadway) and Shucked (Broadway).
Tina has a Master’s Degree in Jazz Performance from Queens College. In addition to bass, she plays guitar and ukulele.
