Alexandra Anaya Green

Biography

Alexandra Green holds a B.A. in Music from Miami University, Oxford Ohio in African American Music and Oboe, and a master’s degree in Ethnomusicology from the University of California Riverside, California. Her areas of concentration include Afro-Latinx music, African diaspora, Salvadoran identity through music, and oboe/reed making instruction. She currently is a professor of Music at Prairie State College.

Green's experience in the industry expands to working as a lifestyle model and commercial actress represented by The Rock Agency. 

She is a member of The American Federation of Musicians- Chicago Local 10-208, MUSE - Musicians United for Social Equity and MAESTRA.
