Macah Coates

Biography

Macah Coates is a graduate of the MFA program at the University of Washington. She has performed as a professional singer in NYC and surrounding areas. She has also performed in off-Broadway productions at La Mama Theatre and Theatre for the New City, where NY Times called her "sharp and forceful" in her "stand-out performance." She is currently developing a new Horror Musical (the first of it's kind) entitled, BANSHEE - An Appalachian Musical. She is the composer, lyricist, book writer, and leading actor in this development, with additional songs co-written by Robert Taube.
