Biography

Hi! My name is Sarah and I am a Music Director and pianist currently residing in Rochester, NY and Mentee in the Maestra Mentorship class of '22-'23! I just finished working on Cinderella at Geva Theatre as AMD/Conductor. I have recently been an Adjunct Professor, Vocal Coach, and Accompanist at a few schools in the Rochester area. I got to work on my first new work last year - Somewhere Over the Border - as copyist, assistant music director, and keyboard/conductor at Syracuse Stage and Geva Theatre and I’m really interested in more music assistant/copy work after that experience. Before moving to Rochester, I was the Associate MD on the 2nd national tour of Something Rotten, and I have my Master’s degree in Vocal Coaching from Oklahoma City University. Other credits include: Nazareth College (Into the Woods - stick conducted, Pippin, Dogfight - MD), Highlands Playhouse (MD), PCPA (Music Directing Intern), Post Playhouse (MD), and Rocky Mountain Repertory Theatre (Keys 2).
