Lisa Riggs Hobbs

Biography

I am a pianist, music teacher, and music director. I am also a Music Therapist (MT-BC) and Licensed Professional Counseling Associate (LPCA) with an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lesley University. I have a Master of Arts in Teaching Music (K-12) from Manhattanville College. I was a stay-at-home mom from 1998 to 2010. Since then, I have worked freelance as a private school accompanist, substitute teacher, music director, and music therapist. I am currently the Music Supervisor for my community theater. I am looking forward to discovering ways we can connect the professional music & theater communities with the music therapy & expressive therapies communities.
